During December of 2016 we were preparing for a Christmas event at our church. I went to the doctor’s office for a follow up appointment by myself and that’s when I heard the news. I had been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, cancer. After all was said and done I went to prayer in the hospital, right there in the St. Vincent’s ice-cream shop. I prayed “God they told me about all of this, what do you want me to do?” I was scared, I never had to deal with cancer. Right there he rained down all those promises. I came out of that place a lot stronger than when I went in because of what he did that day. I was referred out to the oncologist at the University of Florida.
God put it on my heart that I was healed. All throughout the treatments the doctor’s were amazed that I went through everything so smoothly and without complications. Including procedures that weren’t done very often.
I held on to the promise that God with me through even the roughest of treatment. I knew he made the way before me and that is how I went through the procedures so quickly. People would come up to me and say, “you don’t even look like you have cancer”. For the last procedure I had to lay on a bed for 4 days and my husband could not even be next to me because I was highly radioactive. I came home on a Saturday and I felt so cloudy, I asked God if you want me to come to church tomorrow you will have to heal me. I woke up Sunday morning with such clarity, more so than I had in such a long time because of being treated with so many chemicals. I was so grateful when I went to church. People said they would not have even believed that I went through any procedures at all.
May 16th of 2017 I went for my MRI and last check up, and that is when it was determined I was cancer free.
I know the power of Jesus’ blood and healing. Pray, and act on what He says. God will take care of you. I thank God that He knows where you are at every moment of your time.
